Group Travel Leaders
The More the Merrier
Do you love to travel, but love to travel and save money, or travel for free even more? If so, consider becoming a travel group leader. Our agency offers three types of group leader roles. Take a look and explore where your piece of the puzzle fits.
PRIVATE GROUP TRAVEL
These include vacations planned exclusively for you and your group based on your desired travel experience.
What will you do?
- Submit a group travel inquiry entering the details of your desired vacation.
- Register as a Group Leader.
- Recruit a minimum of 20 cruisers (10 cabins) or 20 land travelers (10 rooms).
- Register for the group prior to sharing the information with your guests.
- Share the group booking page with your guests.
- Ensure that guests register, selecting their preferred room categories.
Note: Roommates must register together. Rates are not secure until full deposits for all roommates are submitted - Ensure that everyone understands the itinerary.
- Confirm that your guests are receiving agency emails and invoices.
- Provide your guests with updates and reminders.
- Provide agency with any changes, including but not limited to guest list changes, name corrections, itinerary updates, cancellations and payment issues as soon as they arise.
What will we do?
- Create a custom vacation for you and your guests based on your selections.
- Arrange and book all travel components to include transportation, accommodations, insurance and other travel related services.
- Provide an information web page & registration page for your guests.
- Provide relevant information such as guides, local customs, maps, regulations, and often times provide brochures to travelers.
- Communicate directly with tour operators and cruise lines on your behalf.
- Resolve any occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds if necessary.
- Collect payments.
- Provide travel documents to each traveler.
What are your benefits?
You will receive a $10 credit applied to your reservation for every guest that travels with you.
AGENCY HOSTED GROUP TRAVEL
Vacations are pre-planned and offered by our agency and are open to anyone. Our agents are usually onsite and/or traveling with guests.
What will you do?
- Register as a Group Leader.
- You are required to meet a minimum number of ten travelers (5 ROOMS) at double occupancy.
- Recruit your family, friends, and co-workers to travel with you on one of our agency hosted group vacations.
- Provide flyers and links to our website and Facebook group so that potential guests can review vacation details and register to join the group.
- Ensure that guests register, selecting their preferred room categories for single or double occupancy. Note: Roommates must register together. Rates are not secure until full deposits for all roommates are submitted. The agency does not match roommates.
- Ensure that everyone understands the itinerary.
- Confirm that your guests are receiving agency emails and invoices
- Provide your guests with updates and reminders.
What will we do?
- Create pre-packaged vacations based on our travel goal/theme.
- Arrange and book all travel components to include transportation, accommodations, insurance and other travel related services.
- Provide an information web page & registration page.
- Provide relevant information such as guides, local customs, maps, regulations, and often times provide brochures.
- Communicate directly with tour operators and cruise lines.
- Resolve any occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds if necessary.
- Collect payments.
- Provide travel documents.
What are your benefits?
You will receive a $20 credit applied to your reservation for every guest that travels with you.
GIANT STRIDES GROUP TRAVEL
Vacations are pre-planned, pre-scheduled, are offered by our agency, and are open to anyone with a valid passport at a set double occupancy rate.
What will you do?
- Register as a Group Leader.
- Select your preferred vacation package and your travel dates from the list of available 2021 Giant Strides Group options
- Recruit a minimum of six travelers to travel with you on one of the seven travel itineraries.
- Provide flyers and links to our website and Facebook group so that potential guests can review vacation details and register to join the group.
- Register to travel with the group.
- Ensure that guests register, selecting their preferred room categories for single or double occupancy. Note: Roommates must register together. Rates are not secure until full deposits for all roommates are submitted. The agency does not match roommates.
- Ensure that everyone understands the itinerary.
- Confirm that your guests are receiving agency emails and invoices
- Provide your guests with updates and reminders.
What will we do?
- Arrange and book all travel components to include exactly what is listed in the vacation package.
- Provide you a link to our information web page & registration to share with prospective guests.
- Provide relevant information such as guides, local customs, maps, regulations, and often times provide brochures to travelers.
- Communicate directly with tour operators on your behalf.
- Resolve any occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds if necessary.
- Collect payments.
- Provide travel documents to each traveler.
