Do I need a visa to travel to Thailand?
U.S. citizens do not need a visa for tourism stays of 30 days or less if entering by air. A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity and one blank page is required. Travelers from other countries should check with their local Thai consulate.
Is a passport required?
Yes. A valid passport is required for all international travelers. It must not expire within 6 months of your travel dates.
What cities will we visit on the trip?
Depending on your package selection, we have scheduled to explore Bangkok alone or both Bangkok & Phuket! Each itinerary will detail the day-to-day activities, accommodations, and excursions included.
Is this trip suitable for solo travelers?
Absolutely! Solo travelers are welcome and can choose to room alone (for an additional fee) or be matched with a roommate if available and requested.
How much is the deposit and when is it due?
The deposit amount is $200 per person and due as soon as possible to secure a spot. Deposits are non-refundable and required to hold your spot.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment for this itinerary is March 28, 2026. This will be outlined in your invoice and confirmation email as well. - PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED TO APRIL 3, 2026.
What’s included in the package cost of $1,818 (into offer)/ $2,167 (regular rate)?
This package includes:

Are payment plans available?
Yes! Flexible monthly payment plans are offered. Once your deposit is paid, you’ll receive a schedule outlining your future payments.
Why is there a convenience fee to make monthly payments?
The convenience fee is not a fee for our agency. This fee is charged by credit card companies when processing payments.
Will I incur a fee with every payment?
Yes. The fee is approximately 3.5% + .30 of the amount you are paying at a given time. For example a $100 payment, may total about $103.94.

Will I be traveling with a guide or host?
Yes, your trip will be hosted by We Explore Travel, and in-country guided tours will be led by licensed, English-speaking guides.
What is the cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable. Additional cancellation terms will depend on the supplier and timing of cancellation. We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.
Should I get travel insurance?
Yes, we strongly encourage all travelers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical coverage, cancellation, delays, and baggage loss.
Are vaccinations required?
No vaccinations are required for entry into Thailand, but routine vaccinations (like Hepatitis A, Typhoid, and Tetanus) are recommended. Always consult your doctor or a travel clinic before international travel.
What is the group size?
Group size varies by trip but typically ranges from 10–25 travelers to ensure a fun and manageable group experience.
What’s the weather like in June?
June is warm and humid in Thailand, with occasional tropical showers. Average temperatures range from 75°F to 90°F. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
Can I arrive early or later?
Yes! Pre- and post-trip extensions can often be arranged. Let us know your interest at the time of booking.
Will there be free time to explore?
Yes. While many tours are guided, the itinerary also includes free time for shopping, relaxing, or personal excursions.
Is Thailand safe for tourists?
Thailand is considered safe for tourists, especially in well-traveled areas like Bangkok and Phuket. As with all international travel, remain aware of your surroundings, avoid flashing valuables, and follow all local laws and customs.
How do I book my spot?
You can secure your spot by completing the booking form and submitting your deposit through our secure payment portal. You'll receive a confirmation email with next steps.
Are flights included in the trip package?
No, international flights are not included in the package price. However, we are able to arrange flights for you.
How long is the flight to Bangkok?
Depending on which city you fly from, and the flight route you choose, the flight can range between 19-33 hours long with 1-2 stops
What is the estimated cost of the flight?
The rate varies.
From Atlanta they start at $1,280, 21-23 Hours with 1-2 stops
From Chicago they start at $1,318 19-21 hours, with 1-2 stops
From New York they start at $1,239 21-22 hours with 1-2 stops
Will there be a group flight option?
No. We attempted to arrange roundtrip group flights in efforts to make things convenient for those who want to travel with others in the group and enjoy a shared travel experience from start to finish. However, the rates were not feasible. We will share best available flight options throughout the booking process as others begin to purchase flights. Currently, we're looking at Etihad, Qatar, and Air France as airline options.
Am I required to fly with the group?
No, you are not required to fly with the group. You are free to book your own flights from any departure city and with any airline that fits your schedule, budget, or personal preferences.
Can I use airline miles, buddy passes, or flight perks?
Absolutely! If you have buddy passes, flight credits, frequent flyer miles, companion vouchers, or travel benefits, we highly encourage you to take advantage of them. This is a great way to save on your travel costs.
What if my flight arrives at a different time than the group?
We will request your flight itinerary in advance to assist with coordinating airport transfers. If you arrive outside of the group’s transfer window, a private airport pickup can be arranged at an additional cost.
When should I book my flight?
We recommend booking your flight as early as possible, especially if you’re using points or perks. If you're interested in the group flight option, we will notify you once those seats become available for booking.
Do you know of options to secure flights with a payment plan?

Alternative options for flight installments include Uplift, Affirm, Klarna, Paypal Credit, Alternative Airlines, Zip, Sezzle, and AfterPay.
- Always check interest rates and fees before choosing an installment plan.
- Book early if using a payment plan to allow time for multiple installments.
- Not all installment providers are accepted on every airline's website—check compatibility.
What airport should I fly to?
You should book your arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) in Bangkok. If your trip includes Phuket, the domestic flight between Bangkok & Phuket is included.

What is the total cost of the trip?
The total trip cost starts at $1818 per person when sharing with one or two additional travelers during the introductory period. After the introductory period the total trip cost for double occupancy is $2167. It is inclusive of the hotel stay, transfers, and activities listed on the info page. However this rate may be higher depending upon the room categories you select.
Why does single occupancy cost more than double & triple?
Single occupancy cost more because the cost of everything is the responsibility of one person. Nothing is shared with other travelers
Will I need cash?
Yes. There will be some venues that may not accept credit cards. When credit cards are excepted it's mostly restricted to Visa & Mastercard.
On average, how much money would I need throughout the duration of my stay in Thailand?
On average, travelers spend around $30–$60 USD per day on meals, transportation, and personal expenses. This can vary based on your shopping habits, optional activities, and dining preferences. Most excursions and accommodations are included in your package, so your out-of-pocket spending will be minimal unless you plan to do a lot of extra exploring or shopping.
Will there be vegan food options in both Bangkok & Phuket?
Yes! Both Bangkok and Phuket offer a wide variety of vegan-friendly restaurants and dishes. From fresh local fruits and vegetables to plant-based versions of Thai classics, you'll have no problem finding delicious vegan options. We’re also happy to provide recommendations.
How do I book a family of 5?
When booking, simply list all travelers under one reservation and indicate their ages. We’ll work with you to arrange appropriate room configurations and accommodations that suit your family’s needs. You can also contact us directly for assistance with multi-room or suite options.
Is there an option to fly to and from Thailand with others?
Yes, there will be a flight option for those who wish to travel together from a specific U.S. city. We’ll provide details later. You are also welcome to book your own flights if you prefer different travel times or airports.
Will there be a professional photographer taking photos?
Yes! A professional photographer will be capturing highlights of the trip, including group excursions and select cultural experiences. Guests will receive access to a digital gallery after the trip to relive the memories. For those looking to have a personal photoshoot, there is an additional cost.
Are infants allowed to take part in this itinerary?
Families of all ages and makeups are welcome on this trip. It is at the discretion of the parents to determine whether their child—regardless of age—should participate. While the itinerary includes some active and full-day excursions, parents are encouraged to review the daily schedule and make decisions based on what’s best for their family’s comfort and needs.
If I book the trip, am I required to stay throughout the duration of the trip?
No, you are not required to stay for the entire duration. While we encourage guests to enjoy the full experience, you’re welcome to customize your travel dates based on your schedule. Just let us know your preferred arrival and departure dates so we can help adjust your accommodations and any included activities accordingly.
How will we get around while in Bangkok & Phuket?
For most tours and group activities, roundtrip transportation will be provided. However, for those that do not include transportation we will take the BTS as a group as suggested based on activity times and predicted traffic. For any personal activities you choose to do on your own, convenient transportation options include Grab (Thailand’s version of Uber), the BTS Skytrain in Bangkok, local taxis, or walking—depending on the location.
What’s the difference between the Travel Package and the Solo Travel Package?
The Travel Package includes shared accommodations—perfect for those who don’t mind rooming with another traveler. The Solo Travel Package offers a private room, ideal for those who prefer more privacy throughout their stay.
Is the deposit deducted from the total trip cost?
Yes. Your deposit is applied toward the total balance of your trip package.
